Little is known about Swiftstar's life until he was found floating in a field of metal debris which was orbiting around "Maerus" - The Moon by a Planetary Defence Force patrol vessel. He was pulled from the debris by a tractor beam and brought aboard the patrol vessel. The Unconscience alien was immediately placed in a progressive statis chamber when the ship's crew discovered that he was emitted by a strange, cosmic rediation. Taken back to the planet, he was intensely studied by the Defence Force's military who eventually learned how to control the emition of radiation from his body. Placing control devices on his wrists, the scientists were able to cease the deadly radiation from emiting from his body and began proceduresthat would evaluate lead to the alien regaining consciousness. As the alien slowly awakened, the first works that he muttered were Swift and Star, resulting in the Maerusians assuming that was his name. When he was fully conscience they learned that he had no memory of who he was or where he came from, so after recovering from his weakened state, he was brought before the Defence Force Command Tribunal. After examining all the facts partaining to 'Swiftstar' he was offered a position with the military which he accepted. Due to his incredible powers, Swiftstar operates mostly on his own; not only defending Maerusians from threats native to the planet, but also from extraterrestial menaces.
