People's Comic Book Newsletter (Jazma Online) & CBEM Issue #293
Review by: Paul Dale Roberts
Comments: Donar is a Viking God, that carries a hammer just like Thor. Donar seems a less lot merciless than Thor. Not to give too much away, but the story sets off with the mention of Donar's slaves and how the slaves fear the dreaded Orc. Being as ruthless as Donar is, he slaughters the Orcs without a bit of hesitation. You will find plenty of action and some heavy-duty violence. The story will definitely keep your attention. Ryan has been doing some research on ancient languages and you will find tad bits here and there throughout the story, which gives the story some authenticity. There is a powerful entity in this story called Necromanger and wait until you see when
Donar and Necromanger clash! There is a surprise visit from Loki. The Loki storyline won't be revealed until issue #2. The artwork is exceptionally well-done, great way Ryan uses shadow in the drawing of scenery and his characters. Paul D. Candelaria does the cover anddoes a magnificent job with this eye-catching cover. This comic book has great potential and if Ryan keeps pushing, it should do well as an indy. Definitely check this issue out
